Many organizations in the industry, especially global companies, need an uninterrupted and secure internet connection for their operations at a long distance. SD-WAN provides this connection that companies need in an encrypted and fast way. Broadband internet; LTE is a software-based application applied to wide area networks such as 4G and MPLS. In the past, companies needed different physical hardware to have wide area networks. However, today, since SD-WAN solutions provide the connection with the internet and cloud environment, the need for physical hardware is greatly reduced. By making wide-area network services much more flexible and intelligent, SD-WAN solutions securely connect companies' physical spaces over long distances.
SD-WAN solutions, which are a more affordable and convenient alternative to multiprotocol tag switching services called MPLS, can also be used anywhere in the world and integrated much more easily into cloud services. Thanks to these features, it is widely used by many organizations around the world as an innovative remote network solution. SD-WAN architectures are divided into three groups.
-Enterprise Based SD-WAN: Provides an affordable and practical SD-WAN solution for small, localized services. It provides real-time traffic management with its plug-and-play SD-WAN box.
-SD-WAN with Cloud Capability: Provides an advanced wide area network thanks to an SD-WAN box that connects to the cloud network. Improves the security and performance of cloud-based virtualized applications.
-Cloud Enabled Plus Backbone SD-WAN: SD-WAN boxes in the company's offices connect to the ISP's nearest POP point instead of the internet. SD-WAN service uses the ISP's fiber-connected backbone.
